Recently, I listened back to an old episode where I interviewed my cousin about her mental health issues. Since then, I’ve talked more openly about my own struggles with anxiety and depression. When I compare myself to the old me, just 6 months ago, I can feel a tremendous difference. I have been in therapy for so many years, trying to tie my past to my present, but never really spoken about a diagnosis like depression or anxiety disorders, until now. Something has definitely shifted.
