There a quite a few misconceptions about living a healthy lifestyle and I have tried to gather the most common myths I hear on a daily basis. Living a healthy lifestyle doesn’t have to be hard or something that is “not for me”, it can be fun, rewarding and it is definitely for everyone.
I used to be a junk-food eating, beer loving, smoker who made fun of sporty people. I was generally unhappy and didn’t treat myself (or others) very well. I was hard on myself, unforgiving and always putting myself down.
Today, I have changed my eating habits and although I still love burgers, they have been upgraded to healthier versions. The beer has been replaced with wine and chocolate, which I still enjoy. I quit smoking and now, I love exercising. I have never felt better! All with the help of health coaching.
