However, it is also the time for challenges to our health. Christmas is often the time where we let ourselves go and eat whatever we want and forget to take care of ourselves. One too many trips to the Christmas market or to a Christmas party and our balance of healthy living is totally off. Continue reading

What makes you smile? Laugh? Go giddy with glee? For some, it’s a walk barefoot through the grass. For another, it’s a spin on a roller coaster, a solo movie date, or a perfectly ripe mango.
So… when was the last time you did something that makes you happy?
If it’s been awhile, consider this: Happiness lowers stress levels, increases immune system function, and lowers your risk of disease. It also makes life easier. Continue reading
Let me ask you a question: Have you ever wondered about your life’s purpose? Or really thought about your most important values in life?
Before starting my training as a co-active coach I hadn’t either! I had thought about what I wanted out of life or what would make me happy, but I think the really important decisions in my life were made completely unconsciously. Continue reading
The stories are everywhere, always uplifting, always inspiring:
- The woman who created a wellness clinic in her inner-city neighbourhood.
- The man who lost 200 pounds after being housebound for a decade.
- The mother who worked tirelessly bringing her sick child to radiant health.
- The grandfather who quit cigarettes to realise his dream of running a marathon.
Every day people just like you go out into the world and make their dreams come true. They did it. Why not you? You’re no different than any of these successful individuals.
A Health Coach is a supportive mentor and wellness authority who helps others feel their best through individualized food and lifestyle changes that meet their unique needs and health goals. I offer my health coaching services in my private coaching practice (online or in person) with one-on-one coaching.
Health coaching isn’t about one diet or one way of living. Instead, I focus on bio-individuality – the idea that we’re all different and have unique dietary, lifestyle, emotional, and physical needs. This means that we don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to health and wellness. Health Coaches work with clients to help them discover how to fuel their bodies and become the healthiest, happiest versions of themselves. Continue reading
At some point in your life, you or someone you know has probably tried a fad diet. Just as you’re constantly bombarded with fad workouts (hello, Zumba and spinning!), the same goes for dieting.
In the 1990s, major fads included low-fat everything and the widely popular Zone Diet. In the early 2000s, diet trends were everywhere – from the 100-calorie craze to the Subway Diet to the celebrity-endorsed Atkins Diet. There was also a time when portioned frozen meals were the way to go. Most recently, we’ve seen fads like juice cleanses, Paleo, and Whole30 receive significant amounts of both praise and criticism.
People are confused
It’s no wonder why so many people are confused – it’s hard to make sense of it all! But that’s why it’s so important to understand that there is no one-size-fits-all diet.

These days there are so many misconceptions about healthy living and it can be so hard to find out what is true and what isn’t.
The truth is that health comes from within and is completely unique to each individual. What works for one person may not work for another or said in another way – one persons food can be another persons poison.
I therefore invite you to find out what is right for you, and only you! How do you do that? I will show you!
Please join me for this free evening class where I will share my learnings with you. I will teach you a version of healthy living that is fun, sustainable and works for you!
